Temple - Harrison
Rebecca Elizabeth Harrison of Pikeville and Randy Wilson Temple Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. at Sleepy Creek Country Club in Dudley, with Greg Stancil officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rocky Lynn and Mary Dail Harrison of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Harry Lee and Martha Turnage Harrison, Brenda Miller Dail and the late William Roland Dail of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Kenneth Alan Davis and Rhonda Martin Davis of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Silas and Maybelle Jackson Martin and the late George Clayton Davis of Goldsboro and Anetta Lucas Davis of Snow Hill.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a satin A-line strapless dress with a chiffon split front and metallic embroidery.
She wore white roses in her hair.
The bride carried red roses.
Amanda Harrison was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kayla Harrison and Hellka Trujillo, cousins of the bride, and Krystal Temple, sister of the groom.
Kenneth Davis was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Joseph Davis and Jeremy Davis, brothers of the groom, and Trevor Southerland, friend of the groom.
Cathy Harrison directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Dylan Davis, cousin of the groom.
A program of wedding music was provided by Linda Hicks.
Following the ceremony, a pig picking reception was held at Sleepy Creek Country Club.
After their wedding trip to Beaufort, the couple will reside in Eastover.
Events held before the wedding included a household shower hosted by the bride’s family; a household shower hosted by the groom’s family; and a lingerie shower hosted by co-workers of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Sleepy Creek Country Club.
