Stephanie Nguyen of Silver Spring, Md., and Ron Casey of Bethesda, Md., exchanged vows May 14 at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Potomac, Md., with the Rev. Donald Worch officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Hoan and Yen Nguyen of Potomac and the granddaughter of the late Han Dinh and Dao Thi Le Nguyen and Ba Tran of Potomac and the late Thao Chi Tong Tran.

She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is employed as an attorney at Crowell Moring in Washington, D.C.

The groom is the son of Steve and Barbara Taylor of Goldsboro and Jack and Connie Casey of Clemmons and the grandson of Doris Shaw of Goldsboro and the late Wade Shaw and Emmett and Elizabeth Casey.

He graduated from Barton College. He is employed as the pharmaceutical technology manager at Otsuka in Rockville, Md.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Kim Glasser of New York, N.Y., was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sylvie Nguyen and Pouy Tran of Washington, D.C., cousins of the bride.

Jason Marlow of Raleigh was best man.

Groomsmen were Steve Taylor of Goldsboro, father of the groom, and William O’Brien of Powder Springs, Ga., brother-in-law of the groom.

Ushers were Nathaniel Glasser of New York, N.Y., friend of the couple, and Chris Nguyen of La Mirada, Calif., and Huan Tran of Springfield, Va., cousins of the bride.

Penelope Glasser and Avery Vukhac were flower girls. Camden Nguyen and Kyle Vukhac were ringbearers.

Readers were Lindzey O’Brien of Powder Springs, Ga., sister of the groom; Amanda Nguyen of Houston, Texas, sister of the bride; and Chris Nguyen of La Mirada, Calif., cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.

After their wedding trip to Spain and France, the couple will reside in Silver Spring, Md.

The bride’s parents hosted a celebratory brunch after the wedding in Potomac.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Oval Room in Washington, D.C.
