Ostheim - Prince
Crystal Leighanne Prince and Garrett Keith Ostheim of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 12 at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with pastor Bill Rose officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Monroe Prince Jr. of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Carl Monroe Prince, Nettie Lee Prince and Lucille Batten of Goldsboro and Bobby Woodruff of Kernersville.
She is a 2005 graduate of Southern Wayne High School in 2005 and a 2007 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree. She attends Barton College for bachelor’s degrees in nursing and business management. She is employed as care technician at Pitt County Memorial Hospital and as a customer service representative at Home Credit.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Keith Ostheim of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Robert and Mary Jane Ostheim of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and A.D. and Peggy Quinn of Mount Olive.
He graduated from North Duplin High School in 2005 and Wayne Community College in 2009 with an autobody repair diploma and Johnston Community College in 2010 with a bioworks certificate. He is employed as a body shop technician at G&S Auto Body and is owner/operator of Buffworkz Mobile Detailing.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of white matte satin with a cathedral-length train accented with blue beaded motifs. It was fashioned with a strapless neckline embellished with beads and sequins enhanced with a blue trim.
Her headpiece was a silver tiara accented with iridescent clear gems that matched her earrings and bracelet. She wore a pouf-length veil.
The bride carried a bouquet consisting of yellow roses with hand-tied yellow satin ribbon.
Taylor Prince was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Christel Mozingo and Amber Ostheim, sisters of the groom, and Brittany Prince, cousin of the bride.
Mark Ostheim was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Graham Mozingo, brother-in-law of the groom; Chris Hunt, friend of the couple; and Cody Parrish, cousin of the bride.
Sidney Hair, cousin of the bride, and Brianna Mozingo, niece of the groom, were flower girls.
Sandra Pipkin directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Tammy Moody. Cierra Moody distributed programs.
Ashley Hair and Mandi Stevens greeted guests.
A program of wedding music was provided by Kent Taylor, sound technician, and Christel Mozingo, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at the church ministry Training Center. Kris Hines was director. Janice Butler cut the cake. Linda Petras poured punch. John and Sylvia Grigsby greeted guests.
After their wedding trip to the Florida Keys, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower Oct. 24 at Emmaus Baptist Church hosted by the bride’s mother and Taylor Prince, sister of the bride; a Christmas shower Dec. 10 at the home of Christel Mozingo hosted by Ms. Mozingo and Amber Ostheim, sisters of the groom; a miscellaneous shower Jan. 22 at the home of the groom hosted by Peggy Quinn, grandmother of the groom, and Sylvia Grigsby, aunt of the groom; a lingerie shower and bridal luncheon Feb. 12 at the home of groom’s mother hosted by the groom’s mother and Christel Mozingo and Amber Ostheim, sisters of the groom; a garden shower and groomsman’s luncheon at Applebee’s Feb. 12 hosted by the groom’s father; and a gift card shower Feb. 26 at Murphy’s hosted by Reggie and Kris Hines, friends of the couple.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner March 11 the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
