Ezzelle - White
Tonya Lynn White of Wilmington and Jason Scott Ezzelle of Wilmington exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 6 at 4:30 p.m. at Village Chapel in Bald Head Island, with James Gurganus officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Terry Vaughan and the late Tommy White of Kings Mountain and the granddaughter of the late Tom and Muril White of Shelby and John Henderson and the late Mildred Henderson of Gaffney, S.C.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a clinical research associate at PPD.
The groom is the son of Patrick and Bonnie Ezzelle of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Mosley and Ollie Ezzelle, Farbie Pittman and the late William Pittman of Rocky Mount.
He graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science. He is employed as a director of business development at PPD.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Russell White, and given in marriage by her brother and her mother.
She wore a silk ivory gown. She also wore a pearl and diamond pendant with the original diamond from her mother’s engagement ring from her late father.
Her headpiece was pearl and diamond.
The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas.
Jaimee Garcia was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Mariah Walter and Jenny Bridges.
Patrick Ezzelle was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Dr. David Batts and Kim Havens.
Barkley, the couple’s English bulldog, was the ringbearer.
Presiding at the register was Katie Gwynn. Burt and Kim Jenkins distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Duke Ladd, pianist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Harbourside Pavilion in Bald Head Island.
After their wedding trip to Moorea, French Polynesia, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
