Baird - Smith
Vivian A. Smith of Dunn and Nelson L. Baird of Dunn exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. at the Howard House in Dunn, with pastor Travis Cain officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Shirley Smith of Pikeville and the late James W. Smith.
The groom is the son of Nelson L. Baird of Dunn.
He is employed
self-employed.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her mother.
She wore a trumpet-style gown in champagne and ivory with a lace overlay.
Kim Skinner was her aunt’s matron of honor, while
Bridesmaids were Kaylee Tucker, granddaughter of the bride; Kaylah Jackson, daughter of the groom; and Taylor Turner, granddaughter of the groom.
Nelson Baird was the best man.
A program of wedding music was provided by Tim Herring and Chris Jenkins of Kinston.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Howard House.
After their wedding trip to the North Carolina mountains, the couple will reside in Dunn.
A rehearsal was held at the Howard House.
