Madrid - Campbell
PIKEVILLE — Erika Krystin Campbell and George Vincent Madrid of Pikeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 3 at 2 p.m. at Pikeville Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, with pastor Don Sauls officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Paul Vincent and Cindy Lou Campbell of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Leticia Aiken of Goldsboro, the late Bob Aiken of Hermitage, Pa., William J. Clark and the late Evelyn Mae Clark of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Paul Campbell.
She is employed as a teller at Wachovia.
The groom is the son of Benny Rivera of Phoenix, Ariz., and Diane Chavez of Pueblo, Colo., the stepson of Isaac Chavez of Pueblo and the grandson of George and Ruth Madrid of Clovis, N.M.
He is in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.
She wore a dress with net with re-embroidered lace over satin trim, crystal beading and sequins embellished with a red satin empire waist sash and a semi-cathedral train.
Her headpiece was a rhinestone tiara and a one-tiered lace-trimmed veil embellished with rhinestones and glass beads.
The bride carried red roses, white roses and blue accent flowers in a cascading bouquet.
Kristin White was matron of honor, while Elyse Campbell was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Potts, Julianne Balch, Angela Carnevale, Jordan Griffith, Marissa Pasik and Pamela Kozol.
Robert Montanez was best man.
Groomsmen were Stanley White, Justin Balch, Kenny Roell, Ramen Srinivasen, Christofer Morrish, Christopher Davidson and Corey Martin.
Savannah Williams was flower girl. Shepherd Cowan was ringbearer.
Twonana Campbell directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Oriana Aycock. Heather Aycock distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Kristen Williams, pianist; James Sauls and Gwen Pate, vocalists; and Jeff Martin, sound technician.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
After their wedding trip to Wilmington and Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower hosted by Kristin White and Elyse Campbell; a bachelor party hosted by Paul
Campbell; and a couple’s shower hosted by Paul and Cindy Campbell.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Pikeville Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
