Glaesman-Stewart
Spencer Elizabeth Stewart and Shea Kendall Glaesman of Monterey, Calif., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at Family of Faith Community Church, with John Earnest officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John David and Renee’ Keller Stewart of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Bob Keller and Mary Frank Mooring Keller of Goldsboro and Marvin and Dot Stewart of Tucker, Ga.
She is a 2010 graduate of Wayne Early Middle College High School.
The groom is the son of Peter and Marla Glaesman of Goldsboro and the grandson of Marvin and Mary Glaesman of Fallon, Nev., and J.L. “Tom’ Tomlinson and the late Markie Smith Tomlinson of Goldsboro.
He is a 2008 graduate of Wayne Christian School. He is serving in the United States Air Force stationed in Monterey.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a satin halter A-line gown with beaded lace appliqués, a fitted bodice and a cut-out lace hem on a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a pearl and rhinestone headband with an elbow-length single-tiered veil edged in beads and sequins.
The bride carried a bouquet of silk tulips.
Sydney Stewart Kennedy was her sister’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Riley Stewart, sister of the bride; Chelsea Glaesman Bunn, sister of the groom; and Amy Swartz and Mikaela Scarsella. friends of the bride.
Devin Eubanks was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Braeden Stewart, brother of the bride; Jake Bunn, brother-in-law of the groom; Devin Kennedy, brother-in-law of the bride; and Eric Williams friend of the groom.
Ashley Cloutier was flower girl. Austin Cloutier was ringbearer.
Debbie Kimbrell and Karen Earnest directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Jim Stewart and Roger and Barbara Metz, uncles and aunt of the bride. Tina and Cassie Thomas of Jacksonville, friends of the bride, distributed programs.
Neal and Eli Gilbert and Lance, Lilly and Caroline Metz, cousins of the bride, distributed birdseed bags and bubbles.
Following the ceremony, an hors d’oeuvres reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The couple will reside in Monterey.
Events held before the wedding included a shower July 15 at Family of Faith Community Church hosted by the ladies of the church; a shower July 16 at Murphy’s place; a shower July 31 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church hosted by the groom’s parents and Pam Lawhon, friend of the bride’s family; and a bachelorette pool party at the home of Debbie Kimbrell hosted by Sydney Kennedy and friends of the bride.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
