SEVEN SPRINGS — Miranda Lyn Burroughs of Goldsboro and Brian Keith Helmick exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 24 at 4 p.m. at Seven Springs Baptist Church, with Jeff Toler officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Holmes Lee II and Lynn Cherie Lee of Seven Springs.

She is a 2005 graduate of Spring Creek High School. She is employed as a customer service manager at Volunteer Mail Service LLC.

The groom is the son of Patricia Ann Tice, Roy and Melissa Pearce of Goldsboro and Jeffrey Phillips of Pikeville.

He is employed as a surveyor at Benton and Associates Land Surveying and Mapping.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a satin A-line halter gown with a beaded pearl lace split-front, a lace-up back and a chapel train.

Her headpiece was a crystal and pearl tiara with a ribbon edge double-layered fingertip veil.

The bride carried a bouquet of purple and yellow Gerber daises.

Ada Burroughs was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Taylor Pearce, sister of the groom, and Amanda Hensley, friend of the bride.

Jason Hyland was his friend’s best man.

Groomsmen were Josh Phillips, Jeffrey Phillips and Trey Pearce, brothers of the groom.

Emma Phillips was flower girl. Garrett Tucker was ringbearer.

Barbara Dail directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Haley Hines. Heather Bragg and Jayson Pittman distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Willie Bartlett, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Wayne Shrine Club.

After their wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, the couple will reside in Goldsboro NC.

The Roy and Melissa Pearce and Kathy Forehand, family of the groom, hosted a rehearsal dinner at Seven Springs Town Hall.
