Denning - O'Reilly
PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. — Amber Elizabeth O’Reilly of Durham and Kristopher Glenn Denning of Durham exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Brookgreen Gardens, with Derrick Phillips officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Tonya O’Reilly of Pawleys Island and the granddaughter of Anne O’Reilly and the late Edward O’Reilly of West Orange, N.J., and the late Hank and Rachel Anderson of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of North Carolina State University. She was on the diving team for four years. She is employed as a vault technician at Charles and Colvard in Morrisville.
The groom is the son of Mike and Sherry Denning of Goldsboro and the grandson of Frank and Peggy Denning of Goldsboro and Naomi Coward and the late Earl Coward of Parmele.
He attended Mount Olive College, where he played golf. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with an MBA. He is employed as an assistant vice president with SunTrust Mortgage.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a strapless ivory wedding gown adorned with a Swarovski crystal broach.
Her headpiece was a fingertip-length veil.
The bride carried a bouquet of cream-colored roses.
Kerri O’Reilly was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kasey Lane, Kelly Graham, Erin Bailey
Kim Ervick, Katie Sheridan, Melanie Cisiewicz and Sarah Shinaberry.
Mike Denning was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Mike Lane, Matt O’Reilly, Sean O’Reilly, Jason Jenkins, Chris Reaves and Blaire Bryant. The late Matt Graham was an honorary groomsman.
Allie and Karlie Lane were flower girls.
A program of wedding music was provided by Judy Dow, harpist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held on the grounds of the Holiday Cottage at Brookgreen Gardens.
After their wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will reside in Durham.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Litchfield Beach House.
