DUDLEY — Jessica Faith Wilson and William Andrew Smith exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. at the home of the groom’s parents, with the Rev. Danny Keen officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Lester Lee Wilson and Myrtle Smith Wilson of Dudley.
She is a 2003 graduate of Southern Wayne High School.
The groom is the son of Billy Smith and Faye Smith of Dudley.
He is a 2002 graduate of Wayne Christian School.
The bride was escorted by her oldest son, Adam Lee Deal, and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a strapless beaded lace trumpet dress with a shirred tulle bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a sweep train.
The bride carried white and red roses.
Bridesmaids were Leighann Smith, sister of the groom, and Mia Keen and Hailey Ellenburg, cousins of the bride.
Billy Smith was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Trey Williams, Geoff Helderman, Graham Price and Michael West, friends of the groom.
Madison Faith Deal was flower girl.
Jane Keen directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Desiree Graham, friend of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Chris Ovalle, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents.
After their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach S.C., the couple will reside in Dudley.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal luncheon at Pizza Village in Mount Olive hosted by Pauline Butler.
The bride’s mother and family hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of the groom’s parents.
