Bell - Hall
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Emily Page Hall of Smithfield and William Jackson Bell of Wilmington exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 25 at
7 p.m., with Melvin Hall, grandfather of the bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Charles Lee Hall and Vivian Hinton Hall of Smithfield and the granddaughter of Melvin Curtis Hall and Dorothy Waynick Hall of Wilmington and Jimmy Rogers Hinton and Barbara Woodall Hinton of Princeton.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation therapy and attends Liberty University for a Master of Art degree in counseling.
The groom is the son of Larry Neal and Carrie Jackson Bell of Roseboro and the grandson of Esteen Pope Jackson of Rosboro.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing an attends Liberty University for a Master of Arts degree in education.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white satin dress and a pearl necklace from Japan given to her by her late great-grandmother Mildred Waynick.
The bride carried a bouquet of orchids enlaced with a handkerchief and pin.
Tara Brazell and Cindy Schmidt were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Bell and Jennifer Bell of Spivey’s Corner, sisters of the groom; Alexis Bell, niece of the groom; Charley Cox of Princeton and Laura Warwick and Lizzie Culler of Wilmington, cousins of the bride; and Courtney Chewning of Goldsboro, Carrie Harrell and Jennifer Justus and Jamie Pearson of Wilmington, Kelly Ingland of Charlotte and Elisabeth Smith of Alabama, friends of the bride.
Larry Bell was best man.
Groomsmen were Bren Hall of Smithfield, brother of the bride; Josh Brock of Charlotte, Shaun McMahon, Josh Barbour and Michael Thomas of Wilmington, Jeremy Hill of Garner, Daniel Joyner of Apex and David Hibiske of Texas, friends of the groom; and Austin Hinton of Princeton and Rob Warwick and Coult Culler of Wilmington, cousins of the bride.
Morgan Hall, cousin, was flower girl. Hinton Cox, Braxton Brazell, Chase Hall were ringbearers.
Donald Bailey, friend of the family, directed the wedding, assisted by Greg Davis. Presiding at the register were Jeff and Renee Smith, friends of the bride.
Debbie Parrish, aunt of the bride, was a special helper.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jennifer Justus, Tara Brazell and Erica Ford, vocalists, and Ed Somech, steel drummer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held.
After their wedding trip to Aruba, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
Events held before the wedding included a cookout April 12 hosted by Ronnie and Pam Hedgepeth; a kitchen and gadget shower June 6 at the home of Jeff and Amy Baumgartner hosted by Wilma Bisesi, Mary Ann Yansom, Kelly Pleasant, Ms. Baumgartner, Cindy Schmidts and Debbie Parrish; a gift card shower June 7 in Clinton hosted by Kelly Faircloth, Dicey Tedford, Barbara Thorton, Gail Hairr and Louise Bell, relatives of the groom; a bridal shower June 20 at Princeton Church of God hosted by Margaret Gurley, Donna Jones, Brenda Smith, Renee Smith, Lori McCoy, Dianne Woodard, Bonnie Woodard, Barbara Woodard and Belinda Smith; and a bridal shower hosted by Mount Elam Church.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Surf Club in Wrightsville Beach.
