Jarman - Hayes
Stephanie Gail Hayes and Cullen Lanier Jarman of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 11 at 2 p.m. at Park East Church Of God, with Timothy Hayes officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Terry Dean and Eva Queen Hayes of Dudley and the granddaughter of Frances Watkins Mathews of Cherokee, the late Charles Lawrence Hayes of Bryson City and Charles Willard Queen and the late Della Sutton Queen of Lexington.
She is a 2000 graduate of North Davidson High School. She is employed as a facility relations coordinator at Johnston Ambulance Service.
The groom is the son of Jacob Wesley and Lillian McCullen Jarman of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Joseph Nixon and Estelle Lanier Jarman of Kinston and the late Herman Joseph McCullen and Naomi McCullen Braddy of Tarboro.
He is a 1999 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2006 graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He is employed as a chorus teacher at Charles B Aycock High School.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a strapless white sequin gown and an American bussell.
Her headpiece was along white veil.
The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white lilies.
Brandie Hayes was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Weslea Gray, LaDonna Hayes, Lindsay Owen and Pamela Wood.
J. Wesley Jarman was best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Gray, Daniel Trogdon and Ben Warrick.
Ushers were Nicholas Cassidy and J.R. Wood.
Michaela Gray and Alexis Paschal were flower girls. Caleb Gray was ringbearer.
Robin Jarman directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brittany Hedrick. Tiffany Hedrick and Bethany Hedrick distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Chris Ovalle, sound technician; Isaac Bruton, pianist; and Debbie Bland, Weslea Gray, Ronnie Grimes and Cullen Jarman, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower Feb. 28 at Park East Church of God hosted by the couple’s mothers; a bachelorette party March 21 in Winston-Salem hosted by the sister of the bride; a bridal shower March 22 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church in Winston-Salem; and a shower April 4 in LaGrange hosted by co-workers of Johnston Ambulance.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Madison’s Prime Rib.
