Wiest - Fuhs
DURHAM — Sara Michelle Fuhs of Cary and John Wesley Wiest of Cary exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 25 at 5 p.m. at Sarah P. Duke Gardens Amphitheater, with the Rev. Becky Sansbury officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Faith Fuhs of Goldsboro.
She is employed as an interior designer.
The groom is the son of Katherine Wiest of Neosho, Mo.
He is employed as a pharmacy technician.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory silk chiffon dress with pearl and crystal accents.
The bride carried a mix of green hydrangea, daffodils, irises and cream roses.
Matthew Fuhs was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Howard and Stephanie Casey.
Domenico Travano was best man.
Groomsmen were Preston Howard and Steffen Wiest.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Dorris Duke Hall at Sarah P. Duke Gardens with a cocktail hour preceding on the outdoor patio.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., in October.
