Lancaster - Thompson
TOPSAIL ISLAND — Kristy Michele Lancaster of Goldsboro and James Clinton Thompson of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 22 at 4 p.m. at Seashells and Sharksteeth, with the Rev. Skip Corbett officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ricky Lancaster of Grantham and Carolyn Lancaster of Dudley and the granddaughter of Rosalia and Etta Velasquez of Dudley and the late Rual and Jerry Tipton of Goldsboro.
She attended Southern Wayne High School and has an associate degree in accounting. She is employed as a sales coordinator at Goldsboro Builders Supply.
The groom is the son of the late Teri Eason of Dudley and the grandson of the late James Thompson of Statesboro, Ga., Josephine Moore of Statesboro and the late James Tanner and Mary Williams of Savannah, Ga.
He attended Southern Wayne High School. He is employed at Deans Construction.
The bride was escorted by the groom and given in marriage by the couple’s sons, Tyler and Trevor Thompson.
She wore a full-length satin gown.
Her headpiece was a pearl-embroidered veil.
The bride carried a bouquet of orchids, stargazers and love knots.
Tyler and Trevor Thompson were ringbearers.
A program of prerecorded wedding music was provided.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Seashells and Sharksteeth.
After a wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple resides in Goldsboro.
A rehearsal dinner was held in Topsail Island.
