Tilghman - Butts
Rhonda Michelle Butts of Goldsboro and Anthony “Tony” Paul Tilghman exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 7 at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Bill Sutton officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William Danny and Lorraine Hall Butts of Dudley and the granddaughter of the late Carlton and Sue May Butts of Goldsboro and the late Richard and Ethel Hall of Dudley.
She is employed as the musician for the Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.
The groom is the son of Billy and Ginger Daniels of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Johnny and Dorothy Daniels of Fremont and H. N. and Bessie Potts of Goldsboro.
He is employed as a police officer with the Goldsboro City Police Department and is a captain at Pinewood Volunteer Fire Department.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a princess ball gown with a beaded halter neckline and a cathedral train containing detailed lace work.
Her headpiece was a tiara of Swarovski crystals and pearls with a fingertip veil adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Sharon Barrow was her sister’s matron of honor, while Hanna Horne, cousin of the groom, was maid of honor.
Jarrod Tilghman was his father’s best man.
Michael Barrow, brother-in-law of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Michael and Angie Holmes, uncle and aunt of the groom.
Mary Horne served the wedding cake. Ruby Sutton poured punch.
A program of wedding music was provided by Sharon Barrow, sister of the bride, pianist, and the bride, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
The couple resides in Goldsboro.
