Webster - Linker
Karen Elizabeth Linker and Jeffery Michael Webster of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. at Casey’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with Alan Lamm officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Clyde Lynn Linker and Brenda Summerlin Linker of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Francis Linker, the late Webster Linker, Myrtle Summerlin and the late Felix Summerlin of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Wayne Community College with a degree in applied science information systems. She is employed as town clerk for Seven Springs.
The groom is the son of Michael C. Webster of Tucson, Ariz., and the late Betty Jean Carter of Goldsboro and the grandson Virset Carter and the late Luther Carter of Goldsboro.
He is employed as a metal fabricator at Coastal Metal Service.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Bud Summerlin, and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a strapless white embroidered satin dress.
Her headpiece was a cathedral veil.
The bride carried a cascading bouquet.
Vicki Lowery was matron of honor, while Mellisa Selby was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Angela Clayton and Jackie Lewis.
Christopher Baker was best man.
Groomsmen were Rodney Browe, Tom DeBusk and Michael Webster.
Douglas Summerlin was the usher.
Elizabeth Linker was flower girl. Jeffery Webster was ringbearer.
Melissa Cheuvront directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Reagan Schew.
Special helper was Melissa Cheuvront.
A program of wedding music was provided by Tom Casey, pianist.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
