LUCAMA — Crystal Michelle Rose and Tyler Brandon McNeill exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 9 at 3 p.m. at New Life Church, with Pastor John Scott officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Eugene and Sherry Rose of Fremont and the granddaughter of the late Wiley Rose of Wilson, Shirley Rose of Fremont, Dorothy Davis and the late Ralph Davis of Stantonsburg and the late Janice Weaver.

She is a 2001 honor graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as a secretary and emergency medical technician at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Sam and Vicki McNeill of Pikeville and the late Karen Masters and the grandson of Betty McNeill and the late Sam McNeill Sr. of Goldsboro and James Owens and Bonita Owens of Wilson.

He is a 2004 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. He is employed as a police officer with the Goldsboro Police Department.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She wore a satin A-line halter with split front, beaded lace and lace-up back with cornflower blue ribbon trimming the waist around the back coming down into the chapel train. There was flower embroidery around the halter top and down the split front.

Her headpiece was an elbow-length veil trimmed in cornflower blue with a Swarovski blue crystal tiara.

The bride carried a bouquet of white and blue roses.

Heather Waters was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were April Bailey, sister of the bride, and Jennifer Jones, friend of the bride.

Trey Ball was his friend’s best man.

Groomsmen were Sam McNeill and Cameron McNeill, brothers of the groom.

Ushers were Adam Krieger, Toby Keller, Ian Dillard and Chris Irby, friends of the couple.

Breeanna Horne, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Bryson Scott, friend of the couple, was ringbearer.

Presiding at the register was Patsy Godwin, aunt of the bride. Blair Sarvis, cousin of the bride, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Tyler Crocker, pianist, and Angie Scott and Jonathan Dail, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple reside in Fremont.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the church.
