Jarrell - Edwards
Kathryn Elizabeth Edwards and David Ashton Jarrell of Pikeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 21 at 5 p.m. at Pineview Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Jarrell and the Rev. Aubry Jones officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Lenwood David and Sherry Long Edwards of Pikeville and the granddaughter of the late John Henry and Edna Pate Knight and the late John Howard and Elizabeth Batts Long of Pikeville.
She is a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art education. She is a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
The groom is the son of Charles Donovan Jarrell of Lake Park, Ga., and Janine Uzzell Huber of Statesville and the grandson of the late Gilbert Pete Jarrell, Glennie Harrell Jarrell, the late James Casey and Louise Hardy Uzzell of Goldsboro.
He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School. He is employed as manager at Toyota-Scion of Goldsboro.
The bride wore a champagne strapless fit and flare gown. The embroidery was decorated with Swarovski crystals on net overlay. The hemline was trimmed with flounced taffeta onto a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a fingertip-length veil scattered with pearls.
The bride carried an arrangement of white hydrangeas and calla lilies.
Jennifer Edwards Breeze was her sister’s matron of honor.
Charles Donovan Jarrell was his son’s best man.
Evalina Michelle Breeze and Elizabeth Anne Breeze were flower girls. Edward Robert Breeze was ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Jason Cox, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a spa day June 18 and a pampered bride shower June 17 hosted by Jennifer Breeze, sister of the bride.
The couple hosted a rehearsal welcome dinner at Walnut Creek Country Club.
