Harrison - Edwards
Ella Joe Edwards of Clayton and Kevin Hardy Harrison exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 19 at 4 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, with the Rev. Scott Kellum officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joe Onnie and Elaine Edwards of Kenly and the granddaughter of the late Joe Onnie Edwards Sr. and Lottie Corbett Edwards of Middlesex and the late Thurman and Ethelene Davis Edwards of Kenly.
She is a 2000 graduate of North Johnston High School and a 2004 graduate of East Carolina University. She is employed as a manager at CTSI Inc. of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Carlton and Delores Harrison of Smithfield and the grandson of the late Shy and Nancy Harrison of Snow Hill and Loujean Blakeley and the late Henry Blakeley of Fremont.
He is a 2001 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2004 graduate of Johnston Community College. He is employed as a service tech at Newcomb and Co. of Raleigh.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory chiffon gown with floral embroidery, a bateau neckline and a tiered skirt that cascaded to a chapel train. She also wore a light pink pearl necklace given to her by her father.
Her headpiece was a layered fingertip ivory veil adorned with crystal edging.
The bride carried white to pale pink roses.
Cindy Edwards of Four Oaks and Alison Casey of Smithfield were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amie Pierce of Pittsburg, Pa., Danielle Fritz of Kenly and Heather Barbour of Smithfield.
Kenneth Wall of Smithfield was best man.
Groomsmen were Ricky Edwards, Tim McCullen and Kyle Hartley of Smithfield and Stevie Edwards of Four Oaks.
Lainey Kaye Edwards of Four Oaks was flower girl. Ben Edwards of Four Oaks was ringbearer.
Johnna Moore of Pine Level directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Elizabeth Wall of Smithfield. Nathalia Faber of Clayton distributed programs. Bethanie Joy Moore of Pine Level distributed birdseed bags.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.
After a wedding trip to the Caribbean including the Bahamas and Key West, the couple reside in Clayton.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner April 18 at Lane Tree Golf Club.
