Dunn-Delbridge
WINTERVILLE — Megan Michelle Delbridge and Joel Albert Dunn of Greenville exchanged vows in a single-ring ceremony Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. at Christ’s Church, with Kellar Stem officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Frances Delbridge of Rocky Mount and the granddaughter of Vernell Delbridge, the late James A. Delbridge and the late James B. and Mary Keen Warrick of Rocky Mount.
She is employed as a nurse at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of James and Becky Dunn of Goldsboro and the grandson of Frances Dunn and the late James Dunn of Newton Grove and Willie and Geraldine Harris of Snow Hill.
He is employed as a recreation assistant at Greenville Parks and Recreation Department.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Ashley Delbridge was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kristi Dunn, Brandi Carter, Lexie Dodson and Danielle Merlen.
James Dunn was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Billy Dunn, Bob Dunn, Ryan Dunn and Billy Delbridge.
Abby Delbridge was flower girl.
Linda Delbridge directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Connie Gibbs and Melissa VanVoltenburg. Lindsay Tyson distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Hilary Attanas, pianist, and Emily Kicklighter and Brandi Carter, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at City Hotel and Bistro.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia the couple reside in Greenville.
Events held before the wedding included a Christmas shower Nov. 17 in Greenville hosted by Lexie Dodson; a lingerie shower Oct. 28 at the bride’s home hosted by Frances and Ashley Delbridge; a kitchen shower Oct. 27 at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church in Rocky Mount hosted by Shari and Brandi Carter and Lou Jacobs; and a home shower Sept. 23 at Christ’s Church hosted by Connie Gibbs and Melissa VanVoltenburg.
