Daughety - Schultz
SNOW HILL — Tracey Lynn Schultz and Archibald Bruno Daughety IV of Winterville exchanged vows Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. at Eden Christian Church, with Pastor Gerald W. Kearney of Georgia, uncle of the bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Teresa Kearney Schultz and Larry W. Schultz of Snow Hill and the granddaughter of the late Lehman and Nora Kearney of Snow Hill, the late Ruth M. Schultz of Pennsylvania and Jack and Ruth S. Schultz of Florida.
She is a 1994 graduate of North Lenoir High School and a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology. She is employed as the operations coordinator with Sylvan Learning Centers.
The groom is the son of Amy Harrison Daughety and the late A.B. Daughety III of Arba and the grandson of the late Reba McCoy Wade and Sidney M. Harrison of Arba, the late A.B. Daughety Jr. and Margaret Wilson Daughety of Kinston.
He is a 1995 graduate of Greene Central High School and attends East Carolina University for a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. He student teaches at H.B. Sugg in Farmville. He is employed as an educator with Greenville Sylvan Learning Center.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a satin golden strapless A-line gown accented with a side-ruched waistline.
Her headpiece was a scalloped silk illusion fingertip veil with ribbon-embroidered flowers and Swarovski crystals.
The bride carried a hand-tied satin bouquet creamy baby’s breath, coral and chocolate roses and yellow calla lilies.
Eleanor K. McCoy of Snow Hill was her niece’s maid of honor.
Luther Daughety of Snow Hill was his nephew’s best man.
Ushers were Billie Jean Morrow and Matthew Persinger.
Nell Harrison of Arba directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Becky Taylor.
A program of wedding music was provided by Pam Morrow, pianist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception in the church fellowship hall. Pastor Jack Mays gave the blessing.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Winterville.
Events held before the wedding included a dinner Aug. 4 at the Sandpiper; a reunion luncheon and meet-the-groom party July 8 in Pennsylvania hosted by the Walker-Schultz family; a bridal shower July 1 hosted by ladies of Eden Christian Church; a tiki pool party June 29 at the home of the bride’s parents; and a bridal search planning lunch March 9.
The groom’s parents held a pizza party rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 in the church fellowship hall.
