Rinehart - Sprinkle
Shannon Brittany Sprinkle and Senior Airman Benjamin James Rinehart of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. at Unity Fellowship Church, with Pastor Kelvin Gurley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Terry Louis and Carol Lynn Sprinkle of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Barbara Ann Sprinkle and the late Howard Louis Sprinkle of Leechburg, Pa., Thomas Grey Merryman Jr. and Constance Louise Merryman of New Kensington, Pa., and the late Donald Ray Arbuckle Sr.
She is a 2006 graduate of Rosewood High School and attends Wayne Community College in partnership with East Carolina University for a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed as a customer service representative at Goody’s Family Clothing.
The groom is the son of James William Rinehart Jr. of New Windsor, Md., and Karen M. Showers of York, Pa., the stepson of Lori Rinehart of New Windsor and the grandson of James William Rinehart Sr. and Barbara Rinehart of New Windsor and Olive Christine Showers of Finksburg, Md.
He is a 2002 graduate of Linganore High School in Maryland and the Air Force University with an associate degree in munitions systems. He attends the American Military University for a bachelor’s degree in small business administration. He is serving in the Air Force.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a floor-length strapless white satin gown cinched in the back to reveal the skirt and train that consisted of four layers of crinoline and satin. The skirt was embellished with iridescent sequins and white pearls. The bodice was accented with a two-inch-wide band of white pearls. The back of the gown was accented with white pearl and satin buttons the length of the zipper.
Her headpiece was a rhinestone tiara and a two-inch band of white pearls edging the fingertip white veil. She also wore a rhinestone necklace and earrings to match the tiara.
The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white calla lilies and peach roses accented with white pearls, clear crystals and eight strands of white pearls.
Sarah Hughan of Pennsylvania was her friend’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Summer Fishman and Marina Mayton of Goldsboro and Christine Rinehart of Maryland, sister of the groom.
Norman “P.J.” Pyles of Maryland was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Fishman of Goldsboro; Brett Booth of Pennsylvania, cousin of the bride; and Terry “T.J.” Sprinkle Jr. of Goldsboro, brother of the bride.
Aubrey Lynn Bowens of Dudley was flower girl. Tanner William Rinehart of Maryland, brother of the groom, was ringbearer.
The mother directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Greg Roudebush.
A program of wedding music was provided by Mark Radford.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Sarah’s Garden at Best Western Inn.
After a wedding trip to Maryland and Pennsylvania, the couple reside at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Events held before the wedding included a shower/bachelorette party July 18 at Logan’s Roadhouse.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Mc Call’s Family Restaurant.
