MOUNT OLIVE — Marianne Allene Cooke of Dudley and James Harold Wilkinson of Seven Springs exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 2 at 3 p.m. at Friendly Holiness Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brian Rogers and the Rev. Marvin Bryant officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Roger W. and Nancy L. Cooke of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Bill and Joyce Cooke of Goldsboro and the late Earnest M. Lupton and Mary Namoi Lupton of Dudley.

She is a 2005 graduate of Wayne Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in human service technology and a 2007 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She is employed at McCall’s Barbecue and Seafood.

The groom is the son of Allen R. and Yvette J. Wilkinson of Sumter, S.C., and the grandson of Ken and Jane Wilkinson of Rocky Mount, Bob and Cheryl Trahan of Coventry, R.I., and Woodrow and Ruthie Bryd of Sumter.

He is employed as a service coordinator at Jackson and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Ashley Smith of Greenville was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Melissa Farmer of New Bern, Miranda McLawhorn of Greenville and Anna Starling of Wilson.

Alan McCall of Greenville and Mike Medus of Raleigh were best men.

Groomsmen were Stephen Wilkinson and Chris Wilkinson of Sumter, brothers of the groom.

Willie Cooke of Mount Olive, brother of the bride, was the usher.

Charlee and Haylee Thomas were flower girls. Ricardo Thomas was ringbearer.

Terri Wolfe directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Keli Artis and Myra Boren.

Special helpers were Judy Hughes, Mabel Best, Kelly Doss, Deb Arche, Lauren Sasser, Amanda Price, Peggy Person, Jennifer Coor and Cherly Wilson.

A program of wedding music was provided by Ashley Hartley, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple reside in Dudley.

A rehearsal dinner was held in the church fellowship hall.
