Lee-Eloshway
FAISON — Lyndsey Kathryn Eloshway and Craig Justin Lee exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 28 at 5 p.m. at Goldsboro First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Greg Day and the Rev. Ryan Rasmussen officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Eloshway of Faison and the granddaughter of Dollie S. Kornegay and the late Morris Kornegay of Faison and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eloshway of Goldsboro.
She is a 2002 graduate of North Duplin High School and a 2005 graduate of Campbell University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is employed as a special education teacher at Clayton High School.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fred Lee of Clayton and the grandson of Shirley J. Carroll, the late James J. Carroll and the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt Lee of Clayton.
He is a 2002 graduate of Clayton High School and attends Wake Technical Community College. He will attend North Carolina State University for a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is employed with T.R. Lee’s Inc. of Clayton.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a light ivory gown with a halter neckline of duipioni silk. The bodice was fitted and opened to a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a birdcage veil adorned with pearls.
The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies, pearl white roses and stephanotis hand-tied with a satin ribbon adorned with pearls.
Katlyn Eloshway was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Krystal Kornegay and Courtneay Kornegay, cousins of the bride, and Olivia Lewis, Stephanie Rivenbark and Meghan Brewer, friends of the bride.
Charles Lee was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Lee and Chad Lee, brothers of the groom; Kevin Lee, cousin of the groom; and Jonathan Blowe and Jay Harrell, friends of the groom.
Savannah Lee, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Hayden Lee, friend of the bride, was ringbeaer.
Cindy Bell directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kornegay. Abbie Ivey and Carrie Wilkerson distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jeremy Thompson, organist; Greta Gallo, vocalist; and Krista Calla, violinist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at Walnut Creek Country Club. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Byrd and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Edwards greeted guests. Terri Cangelosi served the wedding cake. Caroline Comyn attended the gift table.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Clayton.
Events held before the wedding included a bridesmaids’ brunch July 28 at Walnut Creek Country Club hosted by Dollie Kornegay and Penny Kornegay during which time the bride chose to present gifts to her attendants; a morning at the spa July 27 hosted by Katlyn Eloshway; a Christmas shower July 15 at a Change of Venue hosted by Kim Lee; a groomsmen’s round of golf June 30 at Riverwood Country Club during which time the groom chose to present gifts to his attendants; a bachelorette weekend June 23 at Topsail Beach hosted by the bridesmaids; a miscellaneous bridal shower June 3 hosted by ladies of Bear Marsh Baptist Church; a kitchen shower brunch June 2 at Abigail’s hosted by Pam and Meghan Brewer and Cindy and Abbie Ivey; a miscellaneous bridal shower May 31 hosted by the Lee family; a tool party May 31 hosted by Chris and Chad Lee; a bridal luncheon May 20 at the Country Squire hosted by Peggy Cates, Gayle Joyner, Peggy Mangum, Linda Smith and Ann Taylor; and an engagement party April 21 at Southern Wayne Country Club hosted by friends; and a bridal luncheon April 7 at the Country Squire hosted by Evelyn Corbett, Lillian Butler and Thelma Allen.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner July 27 at Walnut Creek Country Club.
