Ballance-Rose
Peggy A. Rose of Goldsboro and Jerry L. Ballance exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 13 at 8 p.m. at Unity Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Kelvin Gurley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Augusta Wayne Gardner Jr. of Raeford and Geraldine Burns Gardner of Goldsboro.
She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital and a clinical education nurse consultant for Bard Access Systems Inc.
The groom is the son of Estelle Head and the late Laster G. Ballance of Goldsboro.
He is employed at Goldsboro Tire.
Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Gipson held a reception.
The couple reside in Rosewood.
