Gwynn - Henderson
BEULAVILLE — Jessica Brooke Henderson of Richlands and Kyle Reid Gwynn exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 15 at 2 p.m. at Mikes Farm, with the Rev. Sammy Boone officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Darren and Cindy Howery of Goldsboro and the late Jesse L. Henderson of Kenansville and the granddaughter of Margret Henderson of Kenansville and Wayne and Joan Banks of Warsaw.
The groom is the son of Kendel Gwynn and Eugenia Gwynn of Richlands and the grandson of Jnell Gwynn, the late Pender Gwynn and the late Eugene and Ethel Rhodes of Richlands.
The bride was escorted by her stepfather Darren Howery and given in marriage by her stepfather and her family.
Heather Huffman was matron of honor, while Kim Carter was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lori Gwynn, sister of the groom, and Meghan Pittman and Emily Pittman, sisters of the bride.
Kendel Gwynn was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Shea Gwynn, cousin of the groom; Phillip Parker and Tony Beckwith, friends of the couple; and Jeremy Henderson, brother of the bride.
Gina Bennett directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jenni Guice. Kelly DiNenna distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Bill Warren, coordinator.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s family held a reception and dance at Mikes Farm banquet room.
Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower at the home of Lori Gwynn, sister of the groom, in Richlands hosted by Ms. Gwynn; a miscellaneous shower in Richlands Community Building; and a miscellaneous shower at the home of Sandra Allen, friend of the couple’s family.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Mikes Farm. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
