Swaim - Moody-Britt
GREENSBORO — Melody Carol Moody-Britt and Adam “Heath” Swaim exchanged vows in a ceremony Oct. 14 at Embassy Suites Hotel, with the Rev. Mike Jordan officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jeanne Thompson and William Britt Jr. of Goldsboro and the late Larry Moody and the granddaughter of William and Hilda Britt and Carol Shiers of Goldsboro and Charles and Louise Thompson of Newport.
The groom is the son of Joe and Kaye Swaim of Reidsville and the grandson of James and Ruth Cox of Asheboro and the late Howard and Brona Swaim.
The bride was given in marriage by her brothers, Wesley and Cody Britt of Goldsboro.
Kim Phipps of King George, Va., served as her friend’s matron of honor.
Attendants were Amanda Price of Grantham and Heather Anthony of Goldsboro, friends of the bride.
Joe Swaim was his son’s best man.
Chad Salenius of Atlanta, Ga., friend of the groom, was honorary best man.
A program of wedding music was provided by Bobby and Julie Fugate of Smyrna, Tenn., brother-in-law and sister of the groom, vocalists.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Winston-Salem.
