Bowden - Rogers
KENANSVILLE — Tiffany Leah Rogers and Eric Ray Bowden of Kenansville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. at Pearsall Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev Larry T. Miller officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph Timothy Rogers and Liesl Miller-Hill of Mount Olive, the stepdaughter of William Andrew Hill, the granddaughter of Joe and Sue Rogers and Larry and Sandra Miller of Mount Olive and the great-granddaughter of Ruby Sylvester Rogers.
She is a 2005 graduate of East Duplin High School. She attends James Sprunt Community College for a degree in education. She is employed part-time in Duplin County.
The groom is the son of Larry and Patricia Beddingfield of Mount Olive and the grandson of Dave and Eloise Beddingfield of Kenansville, Joe and Linda Moss and the late Raymond Garner of Warsaw and Rachel Brown.
He graduated from East Duplin High School in 2002. He is employed as a truck driver with Nash Johnson and Sons Farms Inc.
The bride was escorted by her brother and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a formal floor-length gown of diamond white Italian satin. A princess fitted detachable strapless bodice was embellished with Swarovski crystals, iridescent bugle beads seed pearls and sequins. The corset back flowed down the A-line skirt that led into a semi-cathedral train adorned with garlands of satin embroidery, diamond cut Swarovski crystals and seed pearl rosettes with a pearl-centered wedding leaf design.
Her tiara, adorned with pearls , crystals and rhinestones, was attached to a single-tiered veil of silk illusion edged with crystal iridescent bugle beads
The bride carried an arm bouquet of white calla lilies and white roses attached with white satin ribbon in a French braid adorned with rhinestones.
Nicole Lee was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lindi Miller, aunt of the bride, and Katlyn Rogers, sister of the bride.
Larry Beddingfield was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Brandon Bowden and Ryan Beddingfield, brothers of the groom.
Ushers were Michael Smith and Brandon Weaver.
Brooke Miller and Ashley Bowden were flower girls.
Sharon Weaver and Becky Smith directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Mandy Blizzard. Maria Stevens and Charity Joyner distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Danny Dupree, pianist, and Robin Smith and Danny Dupree, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s family and friends held a reception in the church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Kenansville.
Events held before the wedding included a bachelorette party Sept. 29 at Logan’s hosted by the maid of honor; a lingerie shower Sept. 26 hosted by Potter’s Wheel Ministries women’s alumni; and a bridal shower Sept. 27 hosted by Potter’s Wheel Ministries Church.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Oct. 6 at the church fellowship hall.
