KINSTON — Andrea Dawn Hardison and Daniel Andrew Brisson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at Vernon Hall, with Drew Clark officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Carolyn Hardison of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Herman and Lanie Hardison and the late Gardner and Lillie Wiley of Goldsboro.

She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in history. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is employed as a hairdresser at Jeffrey Scott Salon.

The groom is the son of David and Edie Brisson of Goldsboro and the grandson of Rebecca Brisson and the late Dan Brisson of Fuquay-Varina, Edith DeMoss of Chattanooga, Tenn., and the late Theodore DeMoss of Goldsboro.

He graduated from McCallie School and University of North Carolina at Wilmington with Bachelor of Science degrees in marketing and finance. He is employed at Goldsboro Milling Co.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a champagne-colored vintage-style lace sheath adorned with pearls and crystals. It had a shear chapel-length train edged in Venetian lace.

She wore a comb of pearls and crystals and her maternal grandmother’s pearls.

Bridesmaids were Robin Harris Salter of Crawley, England, and Shannon Hardison Smith of Goldsboro sisters of the bride; Rachel Edith Brisson of Raleigh, sister of the groom; and Kimberly Stackhouse Smith of Williamsburg, Va., and Amanda Best Hinnant of Goldsboro, friends of the bride.

David Brisson was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were David Aaron Brisson of Goldsboro and Theodore Brisson of Jacksonville, Fla., brothers of the groom, and Robert Dermer of Wilson, Thomas Castleberry of Nashville, Tenn., and Patrick Jones of Raleigh, friends of the groom.

Lauren Elizabeth Smith, niece of the bride, and Mary Scott Brisson, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Adam Dermer was ringbearer.

Tammy Floars directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Holly Dawson and Blair Floars.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Vernon Hall. Pat Hamm and Carol Stroud, aunts of the bride, served cake.

After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal brunch Sept. 16 at the home of Joyce Pate; a miscellaneous shower at the home of Pam Stackhouse hosted by Ms. Stackhouse; and a miscellaneous shower at Goldsboro Country Club hosted by Gina Maxwell, Amanda Best and Charlotte Hallow

A rehearsal dinner was held at Baron and Beef of Kinston.
