Hott - Weeks
Elizabeth Richmond Weeks and Justin Thomas Hott exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with Dr. Homer Morris officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson Weeks Jr. of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Mrs. Hubert Williams Partin Jr. of Goldsboro, the late Mr. Partin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson Weeks of Tarboro.
She is a 2003 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was presented at the 1999 Terpsichorean Club Debutante Ball in Raleigh. She is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative with PDI.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Hott of New Bern and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Warren Spruill of Oriental and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worley Hott of Arapahoe.
He graduated from East Carolina University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in construction management. He is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He is employed as a superintendent with T.A. Loving Co.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory couture strapless gown with a chapel-length train. The bodice embroidery featured crystals and rhinestones. The dropped waist ballgown skirt was tufted and accented with rhinestone pickups.
Her headpiece was a single-tiered veil with pencil edging.
Heather Renee Kearney of Raleigh was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Christen Lee Botros of Wilmington, Amber Chambley Byrd of Chapel Hill, April Nicole Herring of Goldsboro, Chaney Hott Poe of Raleigh, Rebecca Lauren West of Greenville and Mary Charles Woodward of Toledo, Ohio.
William Thomas Hott was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Samir Hakooz and William Dismukes Poe III of Raleigh, Michael Brandon Morgan of Morehead City, Robert Todd Weeks of Goldsboro and David Charles Woodward of Toledo.
Honorary bridesmaids were Kimberly Lauren Felts and Juliana Meryl Switzer of Charlotte, Emily Lanier Martin of Virginia Beach, Va., Sarah Wade Morgan of Morehead City and Elisabeth Sanders Strickland of Raleigh.
Katherine Elizabeth Woodward of Toledo was flower girl.
Noah Ellis Combs of Cornelius and Connor Thomas Woodward of Toledo were junior groomsmen.
Sheila Warrick directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Meghann Partin Adams of Raleigh. Kelley Marie McMurray of Charlotte and Lizabeth Ann Swirsky of Chicago, Ill., distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Mark Gourley, organist; Dennis de Jong, trumpeter; and Sarah Edwards, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Tortola, British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in New Bern.
Events held before the wedding included several showers and parties hosted by family and friends.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Walnut Creek Country Club.
