Bartik - Jennette
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Rebecca Lynn Jennette of LaGrange and Scott Thomas Bartik exchanged vows in a double-ring beach ceremony Aug. 19 at 5 p.m., with Dr. T. E. Grainger officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jackie McNair-Stallings of Dudley and the late Clinton “Pete” Jennette Jr. of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Thomas and Mary Nelson of Mount Olive.
She is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and Wayne Community College with a CNA degree. She is employed as a CNA in the emergency room at Wayne Memorial Hospital and Goldsboro Medical Clinic.
The groom is the son of Thomas Frank Bartik and the late Beverly-Anne Bartik of Greenville and the grandson of Chris and Grace Raba and the late Charles and Dorothy Garrity of Greenville.
He graduated from J. H. Rose High School and Lenoir Community College with a paramedic degree. He is employed as an operations supervisor at Ambumed NC Inc.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her mother.
She wore a white strap dress with a ribbon bow.
Her headpiece was white flowers.
The bride carried a bouquet of white flowers.
Bridget Worley served her friend as matron of honor.
Jennifer Anderson, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Andy Vincent was his friend’s best man.
Destiney Anderson, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.
Lou Culver and Dawn Long directed the wedding. Lou Culver distributed programs.
Following the ceremony, the groom’s father held a reception at Magnolia’s in Pawley’s Island, S.C.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple reside in LaGrange.
