McArthur - Gooding
PINE KNOLL SHORES — Krystal Lynn Gooding of Kenly and Bobby Earl McArthur exchanged vows in a double-ring beach ceremony June 24 at 10 a.m., with Sherwood Lancaster, cousin of bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Billy Carlton Gooding of Wilson and Teresa Jane Holloman of Kenly and the granddaughter of Edward Toler and the late Hilda Toler Gooding of Goldsboro and Joseph Henry and Julia Pollard Jackson of Kenly.
She is a 2001 honor graduate of Princeton High School and a 2005 graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a register nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital on the seventh floor.
The groom is the son of William Earl and Jeannie Carroll McArthur of Mount Olive and the grandson of James and Elise McArthur Whitman of Mount Olive and Joseph Henry and Julia Pollard Jackson of Kenly.
He graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1995 and Wayne Community College. He is employed in maintenance at Sunbridge of Mount Olive.
The bride was escorted by her grandfather, Joseph Jackson, and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a white halter top mermaid-style fitted gown.
The bride carried a bouquet of white and red roses.
Malissa Graham served as her friend’s matron of honor.
Tiffany Gooding, sister of bride, was the bridesmaid.
Andrew Jared McPhail served as his grandson’s best man.
William Earl McArthur, father of groom, was the groomsman.
Hayley McPhail was flower girl. Dale, the couple’s dog, was ringbearer.
K&B Productions directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Wade Graham.
After a wedding trip to Pine Knoll Shores, the couple reside in Mount Olive.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower July 27 at Wayne Memorial Hospital hosted by the seventh-floor staff and a bridal shower April 22 at the home of the bride’s mother hosted by family and friends of the couple.
The groom held a rehearsal dinner on the deck of the beachhouse.
