Carter-Hill
Christie Renee Hill of Kinston and Jonathan Lawton Carter of Seven Springs were married June 30 at 6 p.m. at Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Kinston, with the Rev. Calvin Heath officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Maurice and Rebecca Hill of Kinston and the granddaughter of Maurice Hill Sr. of Dover and Lillian Heath of Cove City.
She is a 2001 graduate of North Lenoir High School and a graduate of Mount Olive College, with a degree in psychology. She is a receptionist at Adam’s products.
The groom is the son of Danny Carter of Seven Springs and Pam Sullivan of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Carter of LaGrange and Tiffany Brown of Wallace.
A 2003 graduate of Spring Creek High School, he is employed at the Galaxy of Sports.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
The bride’s aunt, Connie Hill of Chesterfield, Va., served as matron of honor.
The groom’s father served as best man.
Following a wedding trip to Atlantic Beach, the couple live in Seven Springs.
