Keren Naomi Stout and David Ray Gunter Jr. of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 10 at 6 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Jim Frasher.

The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey Paul and Susan Ann Stout of Fremont and the granddaughter of Paul and Katsue H. Kovaly of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Edith M. Stout and the late Henry W. Stout of Quakertown, Pa.

She is a 1998 graduate of Wayne Christian School and a 2004 graduate of Pensacola Christian College with degrees in commercial art and graphic design. She is employed as a junior high teacher at Wayne Christian School.

The groom is the son of David Ray Sr. and Bonnie Laseter Gunter of Mansfield, Ga., and the grandson of William W. and Judith M. Laseter of Mansfield and Jack B. and Margie N. Gunter of College Park, Ga.

He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2002 with a degree in computer engineering. He is serving in the Air Force as a pilot.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a candlelight A-line skirt with a chiffon overlay and a beaded corset bodice.

Her headpiece was an ivory fingertip-length veil.

The bride carried a clutch bouquet of white hydrangeas, blue delphinium and bells of Ireland.

Cheryl Stout of Fremont served as her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Hope Gunter and Faith Gunter of Mansfield, sisters of the groom, and Sara Gunter of Covington, Ga., sister-in-law of the groom.

Brunson Gunter of Covington was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Sidney Woodruff of Boerne, Texas, and Joe Elam of Wichita Falls, Texas, friends of the groom, and Brad Hinnant of Goldsboro, friend of the couple.

Emily Moix of Wichita Falls, friend of the couple, was flower girl. Zachary Laseter of Atlanta, Ga., cousin of the groom, was ringbearer.

Amy Foote, friend of the bride, and Tracy Keen, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Helen Laseter, cousin of the groom. Julianna Laseter and Catherine Laseter, cousins of the groom, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Melanie Bethel, friend of the couple, pianist, and Carlton and Tracy Keen, friends of the couple, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church fellowship hall.

After a wedding trip to Highlands, the couple reside in Pikeville.

Events held before the wedding included a Georgia reception in Mansfield hosted by Steve and Becky Byrum and Ty and Kelly Hensley; a pantry shower at Wayne Christian School hosted by seventh-graders; a bridal shower at Grace Baptist Church hosted by Melanie Bethel and Tracy Keen; a bridal shower in Covington hosted by Ann, Cathy and Jody Laseter; a couple’s shower at Wayne Christina School hosted by Machelle Kingsley and Irene Memmelaar; and a couple’s shower in Atlanta hosted by Irvin and Arlene Gunter.

The groom’s family held a rehearsal dinner at Waynesborough Park.
