Busdieker-Lane
Ashley Leigh Lane of Goldsboro and William Brad Busdieker exchanged vows in double-ring ceremony July 8 at 2 p.m. at The Lord’s Vineyard, with the Rev. David D. Hayes officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rhonda Kay Wheeler of Goldsboro and Tony Lee Lane of Stantonsburg and the granddaughter of Peggy Wheeler, the late Bobby Wheeler Sr. and Ruth Grimes of Stantonsburg and Edward Lane of Wilson.
She is a 2003 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and attends Meredith College for a major in mathematics and a secondary education licensure.
The groom is the son of Gladys Ann Beck and the late William Peedee Busdieker of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Namon and Viola Hare and the late George Jr. and Ellen Busdieker of Goldsboro.
He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1997. He is employed as a fence installer with Jeffery’s Fence Co.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a satin A-line halter gown with a semi-cathedral train adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Her tiara of Swarovski crystals and pearls was attached to an elbow-length veil.
The bride carried a hand clutch bouquet of white Gerber daisies.
Kensey Foushee of Sanford served as her friend’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brittany Nance of Greensboro, Kelly Thompson of Knightdale and Kim Cole of Oxford, friends of the bride.
Bryan Wolfe of Pikeville was his friend’s best man.
Ushers were Robbie Goodman of Goldsboro; A.J. Lane of Goldsboro, brother of the bride; and Davey Weaver and Jeremy Weaver of Winston-Salem, nephews of the groom.
Groomsmen were Kevin Rhyne and Jeff Gurley of Pikeville and Todd Shirley of Kenly, friends of the groom.
Lori Goodman directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kelly Rhyne.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of Kevin and Stephanie Rhyne.
