Ravine-Waters
Kristin Victoria Waters and Anthony Thamniyom Ravine exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 13 at 7 p.m. at the home of the couple, with Magistrate William B. Buchanan Jr. officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela Waters and Gregory Waters of Goldsboro, and the granddaughter of Juanita Tew Shivar of Goldsboro, the late Damon Shivar and the late Frank D. Waters and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Moen of Cedar Grove, Wisc.
The groom is the son of Sunee Herring of Charlotte and Mr. and Mrs. Joey Herring of Kinston, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Herring of Kinston.
The bride was escorted by her mother and son, Dylan Ravine, and presented in marriage by her family.
She wore a formal gown of diamond white stretch satin. The strapless neckline was decorated with embroidery and Swarovski crystals. The fitted gown featured gathers that fell around the hip and flowed into a chapel-length train.
In her hair, the bride wore a barette encrusted with saltwater pearls and crystals.
Jennifer Waters of Goldsboro served her sister as maid of honor. Gina Herring White of Charlotte, the sister of the groom, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Wiggins of Goldsboro and Alex Herring of Kinston.
Tim Modica of LaGrange served as best man.
Groomsmen were Beau White of Charlotte, Ryan Waters of Goldsboro and Joey Herring of Kinston, father of the groom.
Megan Herring of Kinston, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. Sebastian White of Charlotte, nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Steven Powers.
After a wedding trip to Atlantic Beach, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
