Fulcher - Hansen
WINSTON-SALEM — April Deanne Hansen of Clemmons and Michael Avery Fulcher of Clemmons pledged their promises Feb. 18 at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Joe Collins officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
Parents of the bride are Janet Norris of Boone and Craig and Katherine Hansen of Mount Olive. She is the granddaughter of Lloyd and Casey Sutton and Carey and Deloris Chappell of Mount Olive, Thelma Claypool of Louisville, Ky., the late Eldon Hansen of Iowa and the late Pat Coggins of Goldsboro and the great-granddaughter of Elizabeth Hines of Mount Olive.
Terry and Joan Fulcher of Winston-Salem are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Avery and Toni Brewer of Winston-Salem.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin A-line ballgown with a chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
Christy Oltmann, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Hansen and Ashley Hansen, sisters of the bride, and Sarah Fischer, friend of the bride.
Aaron McDaniel was his friend’s best man. Ushers were Brickley Oltmann and Bradley Brietz, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Joshua Hansen, brother of the bride, and Raymond Smith and Kaz Romanczyk, friends of the groom.
Gillian Grey, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
Amie Brietz, friend of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Alexandra Bradley, niece of the bride.
Jordan Hansen, brother of the bride, was the acolyte.
A program of wedding music was provided by Monte Tuttle, pianist, and Darrell Hoots, vocalist.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Clemmons.
The bride is a graduate of Appalachian State University. She is employed as an accountant with Adeleknits of Winston-Salem.
The groom graduated from Davidson Community College. He is employed as a machinist with Summer Industries of Welcome.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Village Inn.
On Jan. 27, coworkers of the bride held a shower.
The groom’s family held a shower Jan. 22.
On Jan. 7, attendants held an around-the-house shower.
A rehearsal dinner was held in the church fellowship hall.
