Taylor - Moore
NEW BERN — Sandra Marie Moore of New Bern and William Wayne Taylor Jr. of New Bern were united in marriage Saturday, March 11.
The Rev. Danny Allen officiated at the ceremony at Centenary United Methodist Church.
Jim and Sally Moore of New Bern are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Betsy Peacock of Fremont.
The groom is the son of Bill and Linda Taylor of New Bern.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Melanie Taylor of Raleigh, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Sosebee of Pollocksville and Christy Hale of New Bern.
William Taylor was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were James Moore Jr. of Raleigh, brother of the bride; and Howard Baldree Jr. of New Bern. Gary Baldree was the usher.
Mary Hoveland and Claire Lundy were flower girls. Howard Baldree III was ringbearer.
Special helpers were Diane Best, Maxine Tingle, Lydia Hoveland and Christina Best.
A program of wedding music was provided by Billie Taylor, vocalist, and Shirley Smith, organist.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride is a graduate of Mitchell's Hairstyling Academy.
The groom graduated from East Carolina University. He is employed by Centex Homes as a field manager.
Following the wedding ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at New Bern Golf and Country Club. Assisting were Pat McDaniel, Beth and Gary Baldree and Tom and Barbara Moore.
