Cloete - Corredor
Maria Nancy Corredor of Pikeville and Eugene Herman Cloete of Pikeville were married Jan. 27.
Judge Terry Hatcher officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the courthouse.
Parents of the bride are the late Blanca Flora Aldana and Julio Cesar Corredor of Bogota, Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Gilma Criollo, the late Angela Pinzon and Jorge Alberto Corredor of Bogota and the late Rafael Aldana of Purification, Colombia.
Parents of the groom are Petrus and Elizabeth Johanna Cloete of Cape Town, South Africa. He is the grandson of the late Abraham and Maria Gallant of Cape Town and the late Wilhelmina Cloete and Daniel Cloete of Elim, South Africa.
The couple will take a wedding trip to South Africa and Colombia in the summer. They are residing in Pikeville.
The bride attended schools in Colombia. She is employed as a teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.
The groom attended schools in South Africa. He is employed as a teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Pikeville.
A bridesmaids’ party was held at Torrero’s Mexican Restaurant.
