Hough - Aycock
PRINCETON — Stephanie Marie Aycock of Kenly became the bride of Adam Blake Hough Dec. 10 at 5 p.m.
Lee Eames officiated at the single-ring ceremony at Princeton Baptist Church.
Betty Lee of Princeton and Joe Aycock of Selma are parents of the bride. She is the stepdaughter of Carolyn Aycock and the granddaughter of Gresham and Virginia Lee of Princeton and Bethany Aycock and the late Glenn Aycock of Kenly.
Wayne and Doris Hough of Middlesex are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Jean Morgan and the late Louise Morgan of Samaria and the late William Fred and Rosalie Hough of Middlesex.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a diamond white satin strapless gown beaded and rhinestoned from the waist up. The bottom was beaded and rhinestoned.
For her headpiece, she chose a rhinestone tiara. She carried red roses.
Kelly Johnson and Amanda Hobbs were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendy Braswell, Pamela Strickland, Farrah Nguyen and Angie Turner.
Wayne Hough was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Hough, Tre’ Turner, Brian Hager, Brooks Heath and Charlie Glover.
Meredith Johnson was flower girl.
Duane Haddock and Ashley Haddock directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Jim and Vickie Lassiter.
A program of wedding music was provided by Terri Sutton, pianist, and Hal Woodard and Crystal Edwards, vocalists.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple is residing in Kenly.
The bride is a graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and retailing. She is employed as a wire transfer team leader with First Citizens Bank.
The groom graduated from Wake Tech College with a certificate in electrical commercial and residential. He is employed as a building engineer with the North Carolina General Assembly.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The matrons of honor held a lingerie shower.
The bride’s family held a Christmas shower.
Tim and Stephanie Keene held a Christmas shower.
Church family and aunts of the bride held a miscellaneous shower.
The groom’s family held a tool and garden shower.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Steak Barn.
