DUDLEY — Sheila Durham and Charles Frederick Jr. pledged their promises Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.
Pastor William A. Mitchell Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Greater Saint John Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Hines of Hopewell, Va., and the late Ida Mae Durham are parents of the bride.
The late Charles Sr. and Daisy Frederick are parents of the groom.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a lavender suit with a satin collar accented with purple rhinestones.
For her headpiece, she chose a halo trimmed with pearls and satin flowers with an elbow-length veil. She carried a bouquet of lavender and ivory roses.
Shelida K’Tia Bizzell of Goldsboro, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor.
Stevie L. Bizzell of Goldsboro, son-in-law of the bride, was best man.
Marjorie Dozier of Goldsboro, cousin of the bride, directed the wedding.
The couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 1975 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She is employed at Piedmont Natural Gas and is co-owner of Sheila’s Awesome Tours.
The groom graduated from Curtis High School of New York in 1981. He is co-owner of Sheila’s Awesome Tours.
