Stinnett - Strickland
Natalie Dawn Strickland of Goldsboro and Timothy Shay Stinnett of Goldsboro pledged their promises Oct. 22 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Beverly Ham officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the home of the couple.
Felix R. and Lori K. Moody of Dudley are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Robert E. and Judith C. Kornegay of Dudley and the late Kirby and Dorothy Moody of Deep Run.
Parents of the groom are Rosa G. Stinnett and the late Roy O. Stinnett of Chesapeake, Va. He is the grandson of the late Noah and Mary Garrett of Virginia Beach, Va., and the late Roy Sr. and Belle Stinnett of Norfolk, Va.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory Milano satin and net. Amethyst Swarovski crystals and rhinestones detailed the princess-line gown with spaghetti straps. It had a satin A-line skirt. The back bodice was accented with rhinestones and crystals. Rhinestones, crystals and lace motifs defined the court train.
She chose a headpiece accented with pearls and rhinestones.
Chris and Cameron Gagne were ushers.
Kelsey Kornegay was flower girl.
Joanne Stinnett directed the wedding.
Special helpers were Lisa Gagne, Angie Mejias, Daniel Payne, Dana Baker and Cindy Kornegay.
A program of wedding music was provided by Shawn Moody.
The couple will take a wedding cruise to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel, Mexico, in December. They are residing in Goldsboro.
The bride attends North Carolina Wesleyan College for a double major in business administration and accounting. She is employed as assistant controller with Franklin Baking Co.
The groom is employed as a shipping/transportation superintendent with Franklin Baking Co.
