McCullen - Williford
GRANTHAM — Cindy Lee Williford and Michael Eugene McCullen said their promises Sept. 24 at 5 p.m.
Allen Jones officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Charles and Daisy Williford of Grantham are parents of the bride.
Parents of the groom are Danny McCullen of Dudley and Evita Bizzell of Selma.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal white satin and chiffon gown with chiffon bell bottom sleeves and a sweep train. It was embellished with pearl and sequin overlay.
She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Diane Martin, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Jenny Radford, cousin of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Charles Williford Jr., brother of the bride, was best man. Donnie McCullen, friend of the groom, was the groomsman.
Jasmine Jones, niece of the groom, and Morgan Radford, cousin of the bride, were bubble girls.
Pam Sellars directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kay Arnett.
Special helpers were Seth Best Jr., Marion Bradford, Ted and Barbara Butler, Becky Martin and Chris West.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Grantham.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. She is employed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office as a detention sergeant and a certified phlybotomist.
The groom is employed with the city of Goldsboro’s general services department.
Following the ceremony, the couple held a dinner reception.
On Aug. 27, Faye Best and Kay Arnett held a pantry shower in Grantham.
The couple’s mother held a miscellaneous shower Aug. 14 in Grantham.
The groom’s mother and stepfather held a rehearsal dinner at the Steak Barn.
