Williams - Bedford
Marshelle Bedford and Roger Lee Williams were married Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. William Cotton officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the home of Ray and Jackie Hawley. The bride is the daughter of the late Donnie M. Bedford and George C. Bedford of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Lettie Sasser, the late Walter Sasser, the late Bessie Bedford and the late Joe Bedford. The groom is the son of Bee Bulla Williams of Goldsboro and the late Charles Pal Williams. He is the grandson of the late Maude R. Bulla, the late Dewey C. Bulla, the late Margaret R. Williams and the late William R. Williams. The bride was given in marriage by her family and escorted by her father. Katie Hutchinson, granddaughter of the bride, was flower girl. Evelyn White directed the wedding. Special helpers were Jackie and Ray Hawley, Brad and Mandy Hutchinson and Jeff Jones and John Vance of Asheville. A program of wedding music was provided by Fred Gagliano. After a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Goldsboro. The bride is employed as a pro shop manager with Sleepy Creek Golf Course. The groom is employed as an assistant manager with Nordic. Following the ceremony, a luau reception was held.
