The bride is the daughter of the late Ricky Brown of Goldsboro and Sarah Smith Brown.
The groom is the son of the late Pastor Clifton Smith Jr. and the late Pastor Katie Mae Smith, formerly of Goldsboro.
Given in marriage by her son and mother, the bide wore an ivory strapless tulle satin princess gown with a detachable train.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara with an ivory comb veil. She carried ivory and lavender roses.
Tiffany Jacobs was matron of honor. Tonya Brown was maid of honor.
Willie Hamilton was best man. Tommy Tate was the groomsman.
Akia Bell was flower girl.
Presiding at the register was Tomeka Smith.
Eve Moore was the head hostess. Nieces of the groom were junior hostesses.
A program of wedding music was provided by Veronica Brown, vocalist.
The couple is residing in Wayne County.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church dining hall.
The Men of Valor of Miracle Temple Church held a bachelor breakfast July 2 at Cracker Barrel of Smithfield.
On June 11, Olinda Hamilton held a bridal shower at her home.
