Denham - Guevremont
Shayna Marie Guevremont and Anthony Wayne Denham were united in holy matrimony June 25 at 4 p.m.
The Rev. E.O. Griffin Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Barry and Robin Guevremont of Seven Springs are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Paul and Phyllis Guevremont of Plainfield, Conn., Brenda Poland of Forest City and the late Robert Seider and Mary Azrikan of Princeton, Fla.
Ronald and Donna Denham of Seven Springs are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Grover and Edith Denham of Connersville, Ind., and the late Earl Smith and Helen Smith of West Harrison, Ind.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown of white satin with pleating at the bodice.
For her headpiece, she chose a one-tiered veil of silk illusion accented with crystal and beaded flowers along the edge. She carried a bouquet of white roses, gladiolas and green peonies.
Amber Dawson of Seven Springs, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Guevremont of Seven Springs, sister of the bride; Brittney Shaeffer, niece of the groom; and Stacie Holland of LaGrange, friend of the bride.
Michael Walters of Goldsboro was his friend’s best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Wes Denham of Seven Springs, brother of the groom, and Matthew and Joseph Guevremont of Seven Springs, brothers of the bride.
Cayleigh Summerlin of Seven Springs, niece of the groom, was ring bearer. Marshall Outlaw, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Charlene Summerlin of Seven Spring, sister of the groom, directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Brian Appleton of Canterbury, Conn., pianist, and Bernard Jones of Mount Olive.
After a wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va. the couple is residing in Seven Springs.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Spring Creek High School. She attended Mount Olive College. She is employed as a community relations assistant at Mount Olive Pickle Co.
The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 2000 and Wayne Community College in 2004 with an associate’s degree in computer networking. He is employed in the IT department of Electrolux of Kinston.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held on the church grounds.
On May 7, the Ladies Lighthouse Ministry of Spring Creek Church held a miscellaneous bridal shower.
Co-workers of the bride held a miscellaneous bridal shower.
The groom’s mother held a rehearsal dinner in Spring Creek Church fellowship hall.
