GATLINBURG, Tenn. — Kelly Rae Cox and David Roy Hill of Stantonsburg pledged their marriage vows June 13 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Douglas Cunha officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Chapel at the Park.
Parents of the bride are Clinton and Carolyn Cox of Pikeville. She is the granddaughter of the late Cora Mae Wolfe, the late Richard Floyd Wolfe, Ila Gray Cox of Pikeville and the late Clarence Cox.
Maurice and Dawn Hill of Kinston and Harvey and Sheila Hill of Arapahoe are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Virginia Hill of Goldsboro, the late Leroy Hill, Ron and Irene Hagell of Kinston and the late Tully Hill.
The bride wore a strapless one-piece gown with a mermaid silhouette and a sweep train embellished with Swarovski crystals.
She carried a bouquet of confetti roses.
Lynn Murphy of Stantonsburg, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Donald Hill of Pikeville was his brother’s best man.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple is residing in Stantonsburg.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a 2001 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate’s degree in accounting. She is employed with M&M Supply Inc. in accounts receivable/pay-able.
The groom graduated from Greene Central High School in 1991. He is employed as an HVAC service technician with Applied Control Technology Inc. of Raleigh.
On April 24, Lynn Murphy, Carolyn Cox and Betsy Hill held a miscellaneous shower.
