Lea Ann Bennett of Wilmington and Christopher Lee Robinson of Wilmington were wed Saturday, May 21, at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Jean Hood, great uncle of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony at Goldsboro Country Club.
David A. Bennett of Goldsboro and Karen T. Tyndall of Snow Hill are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of John and Ruth Bennett and the late Alene Turnage Yelverton of Goldsboro.
Richard Robinson of Coats and Claudia Robinson of Goldsboro are parents of the groom.
Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a silk satin mermaid silhouette gown. The bodice, bottom of the skirt and chapel-length train were embellished with a floral design of hand-beaded appliqués of pearls and sea beads
For her headpiece, she chose a flower-shaped Swarovski crystal and pearl hair pins. She carried a cascading bouquet with white star gazer lilies, pink Gerber daisies, white miniature calla lilies, white freesia, stephanotis, seeded eucalyptus, blue delphinium and ivy.
Heather Langston of Wilmington, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Celia Kelley of Goldsboro and Shannon Gooding of Wilmington, friends of the bride, were matrons of honor.
Jeffrey Robinson of Goldsboro was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Mat West and Bryan Gooding of Wilmington, friends of the groom.
Victoria and Taylor Stubblefield of Clayton, twin nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
Kaye Faircloth directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Amy West.
A program of wedding music was provided by Paige Vickory, violinist.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple is residing in Wilmington.
The bride is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She is employed as a deputy clerk of court for the state of North Carolina.
The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is employed as a web developer for Signal.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.
On May 20, a rehearsal dinner was held at Billie’s Backstreet Restaurant.
Sue Bennett, stepmother of the bride; Cathy Bennett, aunt of the bride; Ruth Bennett, grandmother of the bride; and Nita Britt, family friend of the bride, held a bridesmaids’ luncheon May 20 at Walnut Creek Country Club.
April 29 through May 1, a bachelorette weekend was held in Charleston, S.C.

On March 19, Bryan and Shannon Gooding held a stock-the-bar shower.
Heather Langston held a lingerie shower March 5.
