Thigpen-Littleton
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Amy Nicole Littleton of Pikeville became the bride of James Steven Thigpen Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
Dr. T.E. Grainger officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the Wedding Chapel By The Sea.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Littleton of Goldsboro and Joyce Satterfield of Pikeville and the stepdaughter of Beth Littleton and Norwood Satterfield. She is the granddaughter of Betty Littleton and Jean Jones of Pikeville, the late Marvin Little and the late Carl Jones.
The groom is the son of Virgil and Doris Thigpen of Dudley. He is the grandson of Dorothy Dail of LaGrange.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple is residing in Pikeville.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.
The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1997. He is self-employed.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Pier 14 Restaurant of Myrtle Beach.
On Feb. 22, a bridal shower was held a North Drive Elementary.
