MOUNT OLIVE — Jennifer Ann Becerra and Joel Timothy Jones were united in holy matrimony Aug. 5.
Dr. Dennis Atwood officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Geanie Tilley of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Parents of the groom are Shelia Collar of Rome, Maine, and R. Bruce Jones of Mount Olive.
The bride wore a formal gown of white satin with a sleeveless bodice embellished with embroidered lace adorned with pearls and crystals. The A-line skirt was embroidered with lace and pearls and cascaded into a semi-cathedral train.
For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil of silk illusion fashioned with crystal beading and pearls. She carried a bouquet of daisies and rubrum lilies.
Olivia Jones and Sydney Jones, sisters of the groom, were the bride’s attendants.
R. Bruce Jones was best man.
Ivy Becerra, daughter of the bride, and Rebecca Jones, sister of the groom, were flower girls.
Erma Jones directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Isabelle Mallory .
After a wedding trip in North Carolina, the couple is residing in Chattanooga.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Mallory.
